Hey friends—welcome to our CHRISTMAS DECORATING VLOG 2025!! This one is very real life: we’re literally transitioning our house from James’ dinosaur 3rd birthday party chaos to Christmas (tables, balloons, toys… all of it). We’re the kind of people who normally decorate the day after Halloween, but it was November 9th and we were short on time, so this turned into a multi-day, chopped-up decorating series. We dig through our not-labeled Christmas totes (a problem), pull out all our signs, Santas, Jim Shore pieces, Disney park popcorn buckets, stockings, and all the little things we use in our filming background for unboxings and Disney videos. We set up our “fancy tree” (Balsam Hill—gifted by family) and start figuring out new layouts, including adding a tree to the front room and shifting another tree into James’ play area so he can actually decorate with safer, not-breakable ornaments. James finds the Christmas toys, the felt tree goes up with Command Velcro strips, and we work in spurts because… toddler life. We also share my permanent-marker scuff-mark hack (straight up game changer), do some HomeGoods/Target/Hobby Lobby shopping for the missing pieces (tree skirt, table runner, stocking hangers, big Christmas sign), and finish up our Disney-themed filming space so it’s ready for holiday content.
