For November, I unbox the chaos-box: the Book of the Month is “Mate” by Ali Hazelwood (hardback, green page edges, signed), and I also snagged the add-on “Bride” special edition (the one everyone and their moms rushed for). I also chat honestly about my reading experience with “Bride” (I rated it 3 stars—average, not terrible), why the vampire vibe wasn’t my personal favorite (I’m a Twilight girly), and why I’m still intrigued enough to reread and continue for Serena’s story.
