Welcome back to my garden of reading, friends—this video is my 2026 winter reading wrap-up, covering everything I read (and didn’t read) across December, January, and February. I’m a seasonal TBR girlie, so winter for me is those three months, and I’m chatting through the reality of why my reading was slower than normal: December was packed with family travel and Christmas, and January was honestly a hard month because I was in and out of the hospital and doctors trying to figure out what was happening with my body. I also take a little time to talk about mental health, because I truly don’t want anyone feeling alone. I share my experience with anxiety attacks, how confusing it was to be diagnosed with involuntary anxiety, and why I’m leaving resources like anonymous hotlines and online therapy options down below. Getting support through my church and an anxiety class was a huge turning point for me, and I just want to encourage you to take those first steps to get help if you need it. Then we get into the bookish goodness: I picked 12 winter TBR books, didn’t get to five of them, and finished seven (with a reread in progress). I give you my honest, cozy-reader thoughts—like my feelings on Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animal by Megan Quinn (Home Alone vibes, hilarious… but the spice was a bit much for me).
