In this video I’m back at Southeast Game Exchange (SEGE) in South Carolina for day one, part two of my haul. The whole goal is simple: I’m walking the floor, making cash deals, and trading money for video games (and collectibles) that I can flip on Amazon or eBay. I show what I paid, what I expect to sell for, and why certain items make sense—especially sealed games, random DVDs, and anything I can bundle for a discount. The funniest part is the “amiibo beef” with Caleb from Phoenix Resale. I got to a booth first and bought a big stack of brand new, sealed Amiibo—Kirbys and Meta Knights at $5 each (easy double-ups), plus Zelda Loftwings at $10 each. I also grabbed a Super Mario LEGO set because I can’t go anywhere without buying LEGO. Then I finish strong by bundling sealed games with a vendor: I bought nine sealed games at a discount, grabbed a sealed Rockstar collection, and negotiated a bigger deal (220 down to 200) by buying in bulk and paying cash. Big takeaway: if you’re sourcing at conventions, bundle, pay cash, and move fast on time-sensitive deals. And if you’re selling on Amazon, don’t sleep on DVDs—just make sure you understand gating and how to get ungated.
