It’s a Friday night hangout, so I’m just kicking it with you guys, talking reselling, auctions, and whatever else comes up (Bernie is here too, of course). The big headline: tomorrow is my first WhatNot auction at 4pm CST, and I’m doing a legit giveaway—a brand new Nintendo Switch Lite (the Pokémon one, sealed). I’ve got a Toys R Us basket loaded with games ready to go, and I’m starting everything at $1 because I want it to be fun and I want people to get deals. I’ve got GameCube, Mario Party, Star Fox, Zelda—some really good titles. We also chat about the video game haul from my recent sourcing trip (200+ games across Xbox, PlayStation, and more), and I talk about possibly doing a follow-up video once I pick up the rest of the stuff. I answer questions about Amazon FBA (what it is, inbound shipping costs, labeling), platform diversification (eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace), and why I’m cautious about selling on Walmart’s marketplace because of “lost after delivery” scams. And since time is always the bottleneck when you’re working a 9-to-5 plus reselling, I share why I hired an editor—so I can keep making content and still have time to actually run the business.
