What’s going on everybody—Justin here, otherwise known as The Flipping Accountant, and in this video I do a full LEGO investing breakdown by pulling three totes (17, 18, and 19) straight out of my storage unit. These sets have been sitting for about a year or less, and I walk through each one showing what I paid (usually Walmart/Target clearance), what it’s selling for right now on Amazon FBA, and what the profit looks like after fees, shipping, and even a small projected return rate. This is basically how I “LEGO invest”: buy cheap, store it, and sell later when the market moves. I cover a bunch of different themes—Harry Potter (which I’ve consistently done really well with), Star Wars (I’m a huge fan and I like to speculate on sets tied to upcoming shows), plus some Jurassic World and random smaller sets. I also point out the duds, like a couple Trolls sets that didn’t really move much. When I add everything up across the three totes, I’m sitting at about $1,114 invested with an expected profit of $832, which is roughly a 75% ROI.
