In this video I’m testing the new Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Soft Matte Powder Bronzer on melanin-rich, mature skin (30+) to see if it gives real warmth and definition without turning ashy, patchy, or dry. I swatch three shades (Sunny Spirits, Radiant Warmth, and Bronze Bliss) and then demo two of them on my face so you can see the color payoff, how it builds, and what kind of look each shade gives. I apply with my Sephora Collection #50 powder brush and pay attention to texture, kick-up, and blendability. The formula has that gel-like, not-too-powdery feel, and on me it reads soft matte but still looks smooth on the skin. I also compare it to bronzers I own from Fenty, Gucci, YSL, and Charlotte Tilbury—and if I’m being completely honest, Rare Beauty’s formula is the best one on my arm while also being the most affordable. I finish the look with the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush in Soulful (a gorgeous berry), set everything, and wrap up with my final thoughts: Rare Beauty came out swinging. At $30, in a world where everything costs 50, this bronzer is a win—and it’s the only one I plan to use for the rest of the month.
