Hey beauties—today I’m testing the new (reformulated) Milani Baked face products, and yes, I’m talking bronzer, highlighter, and blush. I picked these up at Ulta for $12.99 each and focused on shades that I feel are going to work best for brown girls—my skin tone and deeper. I demo Capri Copper in the bronzer, Bronze Splendore in the highlighter, and I apply Chow Bella from the new baked blush formula, plus I swatch the other blush shades I grabbed. My biggest takeaway? These baked formulas are ultra-fine and on the drier side, which I actually love for textured, mature skin because they lay smoothly and don’t emphasize what we’re trying to blur. Capri Copper gives me that sun-kissed warmth without going orange, and the highlighter is beaming while still sitting pretty on the skin (and not screaming texture). The blushes are what had me most excited—and the reformulation feels even more pigmented than the old legendary formula, which is exactly what deeper skin tones need. Overall, Milani gets an A++ from me for giving us options at the drugstore.
