In this video I’m testing the brand new Huda Beauty Easy Bake Pressed Setting Powder on my melanin-rich, mature (over 30) skin with combo skin in mind. I picked up four of the eight shades at Sephora—Kunafa/Blondie, Banana Bread, Peach Cupcake, and Cinnamon Bun—because I wanted to focus on tones that could realistically work for my complexion and deeper. I swatch everything, then I do a side-by-side under-eye test using my Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Concealer in Praline 6.3 Neutral so you can really see which shade sets the smoothest without turning ashy, emphasizing texture, or settling into fine lines. I also compare the pressed Kunafa/Blondie shade to the original Easy Bake Loose Powder in Blondie, because that color has to work across multiple skin tones and I wanted you to see the depth difference. My biggest personal “make or break” with the loose powder has always been the fragrance—so yes, I checked that too, and I can attest this pressed version is fragrance-free. My final take: I love the formula and I’m officially becoming a pressed powder girl for the ease and portability, but I do want you to keep the price-per-gram in mind because $40 for 8.5g is expensive.
