CES always reminds me that the most important tech isn’t always the loudest. I spent some time with Corning to see how their glass shows up across the devices we rely on daily, and it gave me a new appreciation for the parts of tech we don’t usually notice. Big thank you to Corning for sponsoring this video. About This Video

CES always hits me the same way: the most important tech in our lives usually isn’t the loudest booth on the show floor. In this video, I’m in Vegas with my brother covering CES, and I link up with Corning to really see how their glass shows up across the devices we touch every single day—phones, laptops, and even the displays inside our cars. And I’ll be honest… I didn’t realize they were in so much until I got hands-on. At the Corning booth, I got to see how they’re shaping glass at room temperature and how that translates into anti-reflective, anti-glare, and matte options that still keep your display looking vibrant (not all pixelled and washed out). I checked out the Acer Swift Edge 14 AI as an example of how good that can look for real work sessions outside. I also saw Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the Samsung Galaxy Edge (and on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 cover screen), which is part of how phones can keep getting slimmer without feeling fragile. The biggest “wow” moment for me though was the Lenovo ThinkPad Rollable XD concept—watching that display extend felt like a glimpse of where I want laptops to go next, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is a big reason that form factor can even work.
