What is going on y’all—TechMe0ut here. In this video I’m unboxing Apple’s new M5 MacBook Pro and answering the real question: do you actually need it, or should you skip it? The model I’m looking at is spec’d out (64GB RAM, 4TB storage, and my personal favorite—the nano-texture display). And I walk through what Apple actually changed this year: it’s not a redesign, it’s all about the internals—faster CPU performance, better graphics, an improved AI engine, and more power efficiency for better battery life doing the same tasks. I also keep it real about what didn’t change: the design is basically identical to last year—same look, same ports, same layout. I even talk about how I’d love to see something more visually new (a redesign, a new color, touchscreen… something), because internal upgrades are something you feel, not always something you see. Then I break down who should buy the M5: creators editing 4K+, photographers with big RAW libraries, developers compiling large projects, anyone coming from Intel, and anybody who wants desktop-level performance in a laptop. And if you’re on an M3 or M4 MacBook Pro? Honestly, you can probably skip it unless your workflow is pushing your machine hard. I’m currently on a maxed-out M3, but I’ll be moving to the M5 as my daily and I’ll update y’all once I’ve tested it longer.
