Man, oh man, y’all — I managed to snag the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle basically by chance. I legit forgot launch day was even here, missed pre-orders, and just decided to wing it… and it worked out. In this video I unbox everything, talk pricing, and walk through my first impressions of the hardware upgrades. The big highlights for me: the new magnetic Joy-Cons (that attach with a super satisfying snap), the bigger/better display, and the kickstand upgrade that instantly feels stronger and way more secure than the old flimsy one. I also go over what’s in the box — dock, USB-C charging brick and cable, Joy-Con grip, wrist straps — plus the Mario Kart download code situation. I honestly thought the bundle would include a physical game, but it’s digital, so keep that in mind. After setup (and a little troubleshooting), I test audio and gameplay vibes by jumping into Overcooked while Mario Kart is still downloading. The speakers surprised me in a good way, and overall the upgrades feel noticeable and just… better. I’m excited to get back into Nintendo nostalgia, and I’ll be taking this along with me too (especially with WWDC coming up).
