Is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 worth it in 2025?

I’m still working on my full review, but so far the Fold 7 is definitely checking the boxes for me. The thinner design is the real win—you don’t fully appreciate it until you’re actually using it day to day. I also like that it opens up for work and then collapses and still feels like a normal phone in hand.

Right now, it’s okay for me. I’ve noticed the exposure can jump around a little too easily, and it tends to lean on overexposing my pictures. I mostly use the back camera and the cover/front camera, not really the inner display camera.

No, there’s no S Pen support this time. I was a little bummed at first, but I had to be real with myself—I’m in the group that favors it more than they actually use it. I can’t say I’m missing it in my day-to-day.

Nothing condensed the LEDs into this little screen on the back, and you activate it by holding a specific area (you do have to press with some force). I’m not mad at that because it helps avoid accidental touches. The usability is where I’m still questioning it—some features are fun, but I don’t see myself using things like spin-the-bottle or the 8-ball regularly.

Yes—this is one of the things I like most about it. Out of the box it feels clean, like there’s no bloatware, and it reminds me of the simplicity people love about iPhone. And the interface is just gorgeous.

So far, yes—I recommend them. The sound quality and noise cancellation have been good for me, and I really appreciate that the controls are intuitive physical buttons instead of touch gestures. Everything being on the same ear cup also cuts down on the guesswork.

I use a portable neck fan with USB-C charging and five speeds, and it has saved me—especially traveling. It’s a little louder than I’d prefer, but it’s worth it for what it does. I’ll wear it around my neck, around my arm, or even set it on the table when I’m eating outside.

Is the ESR privacy screen protector actually durable?

For me, yes. A lot of cheap privacy protectors crack super easily just from being in your bag, but this one hasn’t cracked easily at all. Privacy-wise, it does a decent job—if someone is more off-angle they won’t see much, but if they’re sitting closer to your screen angle they may catch a little.
