What’s up guys — in this video I’m unboxing and testing a ridiculously cheap Xbox 360 bundle I snagged on eBay for just £30. I’ve been hunting for proper budget alternatives to PC gaming, and this one was a crazy offer I couldn’t refuse. We go through everything in the box: the external power brick (yep, the noisy old-school style), an official wired Microsoft controller with a nice long cable (thumbstick wear, but nothing unexpected), the actual Xbox 360 E console, and a random stack of games. I talk about why the 360 E is the one you actually want if you’re buying today — it’s the later 2013 model, smaller, runs cooler, has built-in Wi‑Fi and HDMI, and I’m not aware of the same red ring of death drama the early units were infamous for. This one doesn’t have a hard drive installed, but that’s not a dealbreaker because 250–500GB drives are dirt cheap now, and it still has the built-in 4GB storage for basics. Then I plug it in and see if I’ve bought a bargain or a brick. Good news: it boots, the tray works, and it happily loads games. I test Call of Duty: Black Ops and the LEGO Movie Videogame (even with some pretty rough-looking discs), and both run fine — classic 360 stuff: around 30fps, lower internal resolution, but still extremely playable. For the money, this is a legit way to start gaming and even build a physical collection on the cheap.
