About This Video

What’s up, TM Nation? In this review I put the Polo Ralph Lauren headphones through my normal real-world testing because, like a lot of y’all, I saw that promo bundle and couldn’t find much info on whether these were decent or just “freebie” throw-ins. I break down what you get in the box (headphones, USB-C cable, manual—no case), the design and controls, and how they feel over longer sessions. Comfort is solid for a couple hours, but the ear pads aren’t super plush, so after about 3 hours my ears start to sweat and I need a break. They also lay flat, but they don’t fully fold up, so keep that in mind for travel. Feature-wise, they’re running Bluetooth 5.4 and I had no issues pairing them with iOS, Android, my iPad, and even my Windows PC. Battery life is “respectable,” but my real average was closer to 13 hours when I’m listening between 50–75% volume, and a full charge takes about 2 hours with no quick charge. Sound is decent for what they are—40mm drivers, full-ish presentation, and plenty loud—but detail is lacking: highs aren’t crisp, vocals can sound a bit muffled, and bass can distort when you crank it. Overall, I’d say they perform like a budget $30–$50 set (think Skullcandy Icon 180 level), so if you’re buying the bundle, the cologne is the star—don’t expect flagship headphones.
