About This Video

In this live webinar, I break down why video has become your new business card (I’ve been calling it the “new business suit” for years). Most people are still showing up on Zoom with the built-in webcam and mic, and they assume that’s “as good as it gets.” But when I demo what’s possible—even in 15 minutes—people instantly see the opportunity to leap ahead, not because they’re behind, but because almost nobody is intentionally leveling up their on-screen presence. I walk through what I call my Value Formula: Visuals, Audio, Lighting, and Understanding. Visuals isn’t just “camera quality”—it’s everything inside the box: framing (rule of thirds), clean on-screen visuals, and keeping yourself front-and-center instead of disappearing into a tiny corner while slides take over. Audio matters even more than video because if people can’t hear you clearly, they switch off fast. Lighting is the overlooked multiplier that can make even an older camera look dramatically better. The big takeaway: you don’t need an overkill studio to start. Start with what you have, upgrade with intention, and build a one-take workflow that lets you deliver your value with clarity, confidence, and flow—without the overwhelm or perfectionism trap.
