I Was Wrong About The New Rode Streamer X!

The full StreamerX Mac/PC compatibility saga (That has been going on in my mind for 48 hours!) I released a video a couple of days ago about all of the awesome new Rode products released at NAB, and in that video I expressed disappointment that it seemed that the New Rode Streamer X would maybe not be fully compatible with Mac. The reason I though this was that in @rodemic announcement, they mentioned that Unify (their PC only app) would be required to apply effects and audio routing. Rode has a separate site specifically for their Rode X devices (https://www.rodex.com) and again, Unify is the app that they seem to be built around working with. Of course, I had not, but should have considered the possibility that Unify may be coming to the Mac... which is always a possibility. I then saw @DocRock's video from the NAB show floor, showing the StreamerX capture card and Mic working with the mac, but this did not show the Aphex audio processing or audio routing functionality. I then called Rode in Australia and was put through to tech support (because I'm not well enough connected to speak directly to Ryan from Rode ;-) and was told that the information in the announcement video was correct and they could not say more officially. So, back to thinking it may not work fully with Mac.
