This vlog is giving cozy winter vibes, real life, and a little bit of everything: I’m getting ready for church (super minimal makeup because I was on a time crunch), grabbing some food, and running around to a few stores. Every time I go to church, I get emotional in the best way—my spirit just can’t help but cry, and it always feels so refreshing. The message that day really hit home for me too, especially about teaching your kids about the Lord, not being hypocritical, and letting go of bitterness toward your parents. I also had to update y’all on my spaghetti moment—flavor was there (it tasted like “black people spaghetti,” okay), but I overcooked the chickpea noodles so it wasn’t giving aesthetic. Then we did a little shopping at Dollar Tree, TJ Maxx, and Target. I tried on jeans to find something comfy with stretch (because life has been lifing), found some super cute beauty and travel finds, and I even picked up something meaningful: the Type 1 diabetic Barbie to donate at church. As a “diabetic Barbie” myself, that part genuinely made my heart happy.
