#audiophile #earphone #iem #chifi Kiwiears Aether enters the planar IEM battlefield with a larger driver than its competitors like the 7Hz Timeless, Simgot ET142, and more. But does size really matter? 🤔 In this video, we put the Aether to the test against these well-known rivals to see how it stacks up in terms of sound, performance, and overall value. 0:00 Hello 0:35 Opening the Box 1:52 Build Quality 3:03 Sound (Graph) 5:37 Comparisons (VS NM20, SIMGOT SUPERMIX4) 6:32 Ratings Link : https://nfacous.com/ Ratings: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vYLJU2mlyEPenhmOd-lDC7BjLOMBO3Y3JRGZ7buB9z4/edit?usp=sharing Graph Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1b-Lh4eb8tna2GgvPzYyWo3E7i1K7MtLC?usp=share_link Join the discussion: https://www.facebook.com/groups/984726872310356 Email: SuperchonkShow@gmail.com Check out my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/superchonkshow/ Page: https://www.facebook.com/Superchonk/ Contact: https://www.facebook.com/kennethted.koh.5/

About This Video

In this video I check out the NF Acous NA20, and it’s honestly a bit of a “wait, NF is getting serious” moment. I’ve reviewed the NM20 before, which leans more monitoring-focused, but the NA20 is tuned to be more musical and approachable. I go through the unboxing (NF really puts effort into the presentation), talk about the included MS42 eartips (seriously underrated), and cover build quality—this clear brown shell is refreshing, and the metal ring on the faceplate makes it feel more premium than plain plastic. Sound-wise, the NA20 goes V-shaped, with reduced upper-mids versus typical NF tuning. For me, that’s a good shift because some older NF sets could get a bit too bright. The NA20 stays cohesive (single dynamic drivers just do that), has fast and dynamic bass with satisfying “air movement,” and vocals come through beautifully with a touch of warmth—True Colors by Clara Laara was a standout for me. Treble extension is airy but smooth and non-offensive, and staging feels taller than wide, though positioning can be a bit constricted. I also compare it to the NM20 and Simgot SuperMix 4: NA20 is the friendlier, more engaging pick for casual and vocal listening, while NM20 is more intense and detail-forward for serious listening. My ratings land at Bass 8, Mids 8, Treble 7.5, Resolution 7.5, Stage 7.5, and enjoyment gets an A+.
