You know, the ladies tell me they like it big—so today I’m talking about a brand that also loves big: Hidizs. This video is my full review of the Hidizs MK12, an IEM that’s pretty well endowed thanks to its 12mm dynamic driver with a 1.5 Tesla magnet and a 91% magnesium M-shaped dome diaphragm. I walk you through the unboxing (very standard Hidizs, plus the “high-res” logo that obviously makes it sound better), build quality (jellyfish-inspired, super smooth curves, built like a tank), and the nozzle system that lets you tweak the upper mids (copper stock, red warmer, silver airier). For the review, I stuck with the stock copper nozzle. The big takeaway: the MK12 sounds big, immersive, and 3D—exactly what I want from a large dynamic driver. The bass is sonorous, dynamic, and resonant, but it’s not a basshead set, which makes it more versatile across genres. Mids are sweet and warm with a nice focus on female vocals, treble is airy and well-extended without getting harsh, and the stage is massive in width and height with excellent depth. But don’t ignore pairing—this IEM needs real-world current delivery, not just a power rating on paper, or you’ll miss the dynamics that make it special.
