About This Video

In this video I’m finally back from a bit of a hiatus, and I’m taking a serious look at the Hidizs MS2 Pro—Hidizs’ sub-$100 hybrid IEM with a 1DD + 1BA setup. I start by ripping the box open (it’s a very generic “chi-fi black box” situation), then go through what you actually get: the IEMs (mine is sunset orange, with two other color options), a really handy Hidizs carry case, a set of tuning filters, and a pretty funny-but-effective “satay stick” style eartip display. After that, I break down the build and tech: metal injection molded shell, 2-pin, 10.2mm dual-magnet dynamic driver handling bass, and a BA handling treble. Sound-wise, the MS2 Pro is a box-standard V-shaped tuning that I think works especially well as a first “serious” entry-level IEM (not your random $20 generic set). You get mid-bass punch with decent definition, upper-mids that flatter female vocals, and a treble that’s present but slightly rolled—great if you’re treble sensitive. I also compare it to the Simgot EA500 (more coherent and higher-res), then wrap with my ratings and why I still think the MS2 Pro is a solid $80 pick if you want smooth vocals and an easy listen.
