About This Video

Welcome back to the SuperChonk Super Audio Show (a title I’m increasingly sure was a placeholder I forgot to change). In this video, I review the Kefine Klean SV, a sub-$50 metal IEM that looks like it was designed in a dentist waiting room—clean, functional, and mildly joyless. I go through the unboxing, the basic-but-fine accessories (case, cable, multiple tips), and the overall “industrial honesty” build. The shell is metal injection molded, feels absurdly sturdy, and has a rough sandblasted texture that I actually really like. Sound-wise, the Klean SV runs a V-shaped signature with a prominent midbass that’s fun without turning into condo-pool underwater mud. Resolution is frankly rude for the price, and the 10mm diamond-like coated dynamic driver brings that natural DD vibe I’m always chasing. I also break down the three nozzle tunings: silver (balanced/stock), gold (more upper mids for female vocals), and black (reduced upper mids for a slower, muted, post-lunch-food-coma sound). I test with “Jennifer Wants The Hunter” (yes, the National Day Parade trauma track), then compare the SV to the original Klean (SV is thicker and more versatile) and the Simgot EW200 (EW200 is more energetic; SV is more relaxed—guess which nap-person I prefer).
