Hello hello—welcome back to another TBR Tuesday (two Tuesdays in a row, I might add). In this video I’m sharing the books releasing on April 7th, 2026, and I’m reading the covers on my Kindle Colorsoft because I love seeing all the little design details in color. I also talk a bit about how I build these lists (I’m truly scouring Amazon, Goodreads, and publisher pages), so if you love TBR Tuesday, please tell me what releases you’re excited for so I can add them. The biggest release on my list is definitely Rites of the Starling by Devney Perry (book two after Shield of Sparrows). Shield of Sparrows was a five-star read for me—romantasy that feels “accessible fantasy,” with The Witcher meets Cinderella vibes, monsters, princes, forced marriage/political alliances, and twists that didn’t feel copy-and-paste. I also shout out a few other April 7 releases I’m curious about: Yesteryear (time travel-ish, waking up in 1855), Enemies to Lovers (a chaotic rom-com road trip vibe), The Girls Trip (thrillery and a little spooky—two online friends traveling together with secrets), and Wolvers (mysterious American Southwest energy). Plus, I give a quick life update on my March wrap-up audio mishap and what I’m currently reading (Starside and Project Hail Mary).
