In this House to Home vlog, I’m doing my New Year reset for 2025, and my word of the year is “embodiment.” For me, that means actually living out everything I say I want—stepping into my full potential, accepting the blessings God has for me, and letting go of anything that no longer serves me. So we’re deep cleaning, decluttering, and making space in our home (and our routines) for what fits this new season. I’m taking down all the Christmas decor (with very mixed feelings because the house always feels so empty after), then filling the gaps with a few modern, neutral, cozy finds—plus some spring pieces I spotted at Target from Studio McGee and Hearth & Hand. I share a mini Target haul with clearance steals (like vases for basically nothing), and my favorite find: a brass rechargeable touch lamp that looks high-end but is super affordable. We also do an annual closet refresh and vanity organization, and I show the new jewelry and watch cases that make my closet feel way more elevated. To wrap it up, I’m sharing the journals my husband Jared designed—Thought Threads—because new year = new planners, new journals, all that good stuff.
