In this House to Home vlog, I’m finally tackling some spring updates for our front porch and flowerbed, because it was honestly a hot mess after that freeze/snowstorm we had here in Louisiana (like… it does not snow, so everything was struggling). I also catch you up a little on where I’ve been—work has been super busy since I got promoted in my HR role, so I’ve been trying to be more mindful about shopping and spending, but I still wanted to make our outdoor space feel modern, neutral, and cozy. First up, I share the affordable porch chair set I found at the At Home store after going round and round trying to find chairs that actually match. I love the style, it’s comfortable, and it looks so good with our shutters—especially with the tan pillows and a simple little stone planter moment for greenery. Then we do a flower shopping trip (one of my favorite things), hit Lowe’s and a local nursery, and I show you our flowerbed makeover—foxtail ferns, petunias, impatiens, azaleas, and African lilies (which I didn’t even realize would sprout like they do).
