In today’s House to Home vlog, I’m doing a mix of modern, neutral, cozy updates that make a new construction feel more lived-in (but still super clean and luxe). The big moment is unboxing my new hand-painted wall art from Vinchy Art—it arrived in a literal wooden box, packaged so well, and the detail in person is so pretty. I originally wanted it in the living room, but it was pulling a slight pink tint and I didn’t want it to clash with my neutral palette or limit me when I’m in my black-and-white era, so I tested a few spots and landed on the guest hallway. It ended up being the perfect touch for that space. Next, I built a new YITAHOME makeup vanity (yes, it took a while), and it was so worth it. I love the glass top so I can see and display my makeup, and the drawer space is amazing—my old vanity was truly a hot mess. I also share closet organization updates for Jared with the YITAHOME shoe boxes and the Target closet drawers for that affordable “built-in” look. Then I unbox a fluffy down-alternative comforter for the guest room, chat upcoming guest bathroom plans, share a few birthday weekend fashion finds (including super cute Marc Jacobs bags), and finish with a clean-with-me reset so we can come home to a spotless house.
