In today’s House to Home vlog, I’m sharing a bunch of home decor updates—mainly my affordable spring florals and the vases/pots I always reach for when I’m trying to get that modern, neutral, cozy vibe without spending a ton. I took you through my newest Hobby Lobby stem finds (including my all-time favorite high-end looking greenery that’s finally back in stock for spring), plus a soft pink/peach floral that adds color without doing the absolute most. I also show how I’m styling them around my home—entryway, dining room credenza, coffee table—so you can see how a few stems can totally lift a space. I share what I look for in stems—more natural movement, less plastic-looking finishes, and colors that feel light and airy for spring. And then we had a little DIY moment: we updated the bottom of our office chairs by spray painting with a French beige base and using Rust-Oleum Java Brown glaze to tone down that orangey wood. I’ll be honest—I was way too heavy-handed with the glaze, but it still turned into a deep, rich brown that blends so much better with the office floors.
