I’m getting ready for the new season (summer is rapidly approaching), so it was time for a little refresh—starting with a gorgeous HomeGoods bench I found for $149. I styled it in our window area to create a “little window seat” moment and also add extra seating when we have guests over. I love the creamy beige linen cushion and that driftwood-toned wood—getting light neutrals to blend is hard, and this one matched my space so perfectly. After that, I did a full recap of the home projects and purchases that truly turned our house into a home over this past year. I’m talking custom Two Pages drapes and Roman shades (a complete game changer), my $55 Home Depot floating shelves that gave us the built-in look without the built-in price, and my Amazon fluted credenzas that look so high-end but are still budget-friendly.
