Hey guys, welcome to a new vlog. In this one, I’m taking you with me on our first little trip as wife and husband (bride and groom!)—a one-night Scotland road trip to Glasgow. We drove about five hours and got in around 2 a.m., and I was so sad because I literally forgot my ring at home. Still, it was such a well-needed break from work and the post-wedding “always something to do” life. I show you a quick room tour, my Scotland fit (yes, I needed a bit of height), my scent of the day, and we head out for coffee, shopping, and last-minute birthday prep. The main reason we came was for a 30th birthday surprise party for my friend—she didn’t even know we were in Scotland. I also do a little Zara try-on because I’m trying to dress more conservative (I’m tired of always picking crop tops and tiny tops), and I ended up wearing the second option to the party. The next day we check out (why is check-in 3 but check-out 12?) and do my first ever escape room—Excalibur-themed—and let’s just say it took us a minute because we don’t read, but once we got going, we did well.
