This week’s vlog is very much me trying to build my confidence—especially with driving. I take you along on a solo drive (yes, I’m still scared and I’m not even making eye contact with the camera half the time), do a little life catch-up, and get ready for my friend’s Bridgerton-themed baby party. I’m steaming my ASOS dress, stressing about Amazon deliveries like the last-minute girl that I am, and putting together the full look with gloves from my reception, pearls, and a fan… even though the mask never showed up in time. I also share a few real-life bits: Ghana Independence Day dinner with my husband (check check, jollof, tilapia, chofi, plantain—so good), a quick gym inquiry because I want to learn how to swim (and I told the lady straight: “Girl, I’m a baby… I’m scared of the depth”), and a proper car chat about how I got my automatic BMW in the UK—from Auto Trader browsing to budgeting, insurance, and why I finally caved and stopped forcing manual. And on the deeper side, I open up about losing my job again and how God redirected me into a new role I genuinely couldn’t imagine getting.
