About This Video

Hey guys — this is basically my wedding planning 101 video and I’ve been building it for months. I’m taking you with me through the real behind-the-scenes of planning our November wedding (yes, we decided this year, and we started properly in June… child). We tour reception venues, talk through what’s included (tables, name cards, food, decor options), and I share my honest thoughts as we compare value vs vibe — including the little details you don’t think about until you’re actually there. I also vlog my first wedding dress shopping experience (I found my dress, but I’m not showing you what I’m keeping), plus reception dress plans, shoe hunting (in-store was a fail, so I ordered online), cake options, and starting to price flowers. We go ring shopping too, and I’m very real about how confusing it gets when you’re trying to find a band that actually complements your engagement ring — and stays within budget. On top of all that, I’m juggling the most stressful part: visas for my family coming from Ghana. If you’re planning a wedding and need calm energy, practical ideas, and a reminder to enjoy the process even when it’s a lot, this one’s for you.
