I hit my limit this week — too much screen time, too much noise. So I took a spontaneous digital detox day. I drove out to the mountains, hiked a quiet trail, found a cozy coffee shop, and journaled by the river with the Rockies as my backdrop. In this slow living vlog, come along as I unplug, reset, and reconnect — with nature, with my analog rituals, and with myself. This isn’t a productivity vlog. No hustle tips. Just a quiet reminder that stillness is powerful too. ⛰️ Thanks for being here. About This Video

I hit my limit this week—too much screen time, too much noise—and I could feel it in my bones. So I took a mostly digital detox day (digitalish, since I’m still talking into a camera) and headed out of town with my stationery tool kit. The plan was simple: get into nature, do a little walking, a little journaling, a little contemplating, and just hang out with myself. I started out near Lake Minnewanka on a gorgeous, breezy day—though I quickly realized I’d wandered into more hike than I wanted (I accidentally started the Seely Level Cirque hike). I kept it easy, listened for the faint sound of wind and birds, and stopped in at the old “ruins” along the trail—roof gone, graffiti everywhere, still strangely grounding. To end the day, I went to one of my favorite spots in Canmore, found a bench by the river, and journaled with the Three Sisters in the background. No hustle tips, no productivity agenda—just a quiet reset, a little forest bathing, and the reminder that stillness is powerful too.
