This one is an original STEREO music/demo built around Intrepid Audio’s CROSSFLOW, and yeah—this is not your grandpa’s stereo tremolo. I’m using it as the motion engine for the whole track, leaning into programmable/syncable trem patterns, LFO modulation, and sequencer-style movement so the guitar can live in that wide, shifting “stereo weirdness” zone I’m always chasing. For the textures, I ran my modded Vintera Tele Deluxe (Creamery wide range pickups) through Meris Enzo X for synthy stuff, then Polyend PRESS for compression, Polyend MESS for delay/reverb, and finally into Crossflow to make everything breathe and pulse in stereo. Bass is my 1982 Japanese P Bass, and everything was tracked with a Beyerdynamic M160 ribbon into my Silktone 12W, then into a UAD Apollo Twin Quad Core. For true stereo guitar, the left side hit the Silktone and the right side went into a Milkman The Amp Stereo. The takeaway: Crossflow isn’t just “tremolo on/off”—it’s a programmable stereo movement tool that can basically become the arrangement.
