This demo is intended for listeners to use headphones-- as the widening of the stereo image is a big part of the effect. The Solarfaze is used at the end of a chain of delay, reverb, and synth pedal effects to widen, saturate, and enhance (signal chain listed below). Signal chain on the guitar was: guitar---Meris: Enzo X (to create synth textures)---Polyend: PRESS Compressor---Polyend: MESS (for delay and reverb)---SOLARFAZE Guitars and bass recorded with a Beyerdynamic M160 Ribbon mic through a Silktone 12W amp into a UAD Apollo Twin Quad Core interface. For stereo guitar, the left channel was run into the Silktone, and the right channel was run into the Milkman The Amp Stereo desktop amp.
