Hey y’all—today I’m vlogging a much-needed spa day because your girl was overdue, okay. I pulled up to K Nicole Salon and Spa (Florence, South Carolina) for a Brazilian wax, armpit wax, and a yoni steam (V-steam). Normally I come every 4–5 weeks, but I was at week seven… so yes, I already knew I was about to have to pray my way through it. The spa itself is so serene—green, peaceful, and just gives that calm, soft life ambiance the second you get there. First, I headed to the back for my yoni steam, which usually lasts me about 45 minutes to an hour. During that time I like to sip a little champagne, read positive affirmations, pray, and meditate—because self-care for me is body AND spirit, God first. After that, we went into the waxing: armpits first, then Brazilian. I’m not even gonna lie, with seven weeks of growth it can be painful, but I always get through it the same way—breathing, praying, and staying calm. Overall, it’s a real reset day: hygiene, maintenance, and healing energy all in one.
