In this video I took y’all with me on a “quick” Target run (that turned into a little more, per usual). I had a real list—laundry detergent, toothpaste, a few household essentials, and some loungewear—because I had Bible study at 7 and I was trying not to be late. I also stopped at Ulta first and kept it cute: just two lip glosses, and one rang up $5, so you already know I was like okay God, thank You—fixed income over here, we not playing. At Target I browsed the loungewear section heavy. I grabbed some tees and crop tops (those $3 house tops? yeah, I almost got all of them), and I was really hunting for this linen-feel robe in cream—but they didn’t have my size, so I had to let it go even though it was so spring/summer. I also shared some hygiene preferences: I’m big on sensitive products, especially when it comes to wipes, and I’m picky about anything that’s been sitting tossed around on the shelf. I picked up home scent stuff (fresh linen is my weakness), laundry items, and a couple kitchen basics like freezer bags and parchment paper. I did go over budget after adding two $20 sweatpants, but overall I didn’t do too bad—Target just be testing me.
