How to Refinish Old Shelves on the Big Green Egg

My Big Green Egg BBQ Shelves had been very neglected and were due for some TLC. I was hoping to keep them on the metal holders while I sanded them down but as it turns out it was much easier to sand them and apply the paste when they were removed from the holder. I only used 120 and 220 grit sand paper to get the years of grim and grease off of the shelves.
