Today, while the big green egg's gasket dries we cook up 3 delicious ribeye steaks on the weber gold kettle grill. Measuring in at this little grill can do it all. I used lump charcoal for this cook because I like how it cooks hotter and there's less ash buildup than briquettes. Ash buildup on a small kettle grill will reduce the temperature of the cook making a steak not cook as fast and won't give me the caramelized crust on the exterior. My estimate on barbecue temperature was that the grill was 500 degrees when we put the steaks on. Did you hear that sizzle? I used the Hardcore Carnivore's Black seasoning for the steaks.
