Hot Spot Test on the Asmoke BBQ Pellet Grill

After cooking on the Asmoke a couple times I have realized I should have conducted a hot spot test when I first took the Asmoke Pellet BBQ Grill out of the box. The point behind this test is to identify which spots on the grill grate are the hottest and which one is the coolest. This is a key part of understanding your own BBQ and being able to properly cook any piece of meat on any BBQ. The results are very conclusive; there is a large hot spot on the right side of the BBQ which tells me to avoid this area for traditional BBQing. The pork ribs I cooked a few week back showed this same info.
