This is the second BBQ on the Asmoke pellet grill/BBQ. Chicken wings are a great way to test the capabilities of a pellet cooker to determine its ability to get the chicken crispy on the outside but moist and tender in the middle. We cut off the wing tips and cut the wings in half using our usually method, "winner, winner chicken dinner" ;). I seasoned with a traditional BBQ rub. I recommend you find something with a lot of aromatics to enhance the poultry flavor. I should have cooked them at 350 degrees until the internal temperature was 165 but I ended up putting the Asmoke Pellet BBQ to 400 instead. There were a few hot spots on the pellet BBQ so make sure you are not burning some wings while properly cooking the rest.
