Hey everyone, it’s me, Slush the Husky, and in this video I unbox and review the Happitail FreeMove Pack harness—aka the backpack harness that actually lets me move like a proper husky. The Happitail team sent it over, and I’m not kidding… Slush APPROVES. I show how easy it is to put on (clip the sides, then the belly strap) and why it feels totally different from the usual backpack harnesses that sit on the shoulders and mess with your stride. The biggest deal is the shoulder-free design. My shoulder blades stay completely free, so I can run, jump, turn, and even roll around without feeling restricted—no chafing, no awkward gait, just natural movement even with weight in the pack. It also has a split chest design with two straps instead of one strap pressing the middle, plus breathable mesh lining and water-resistant material that’s awesome for rainy hikes. I also break down the storage (seriously, the biggest capacity I’ve seen), including a huge main pocket with elastic holders, extra side compartments for stuff like poop bags, and a big back pocket for treats or a water bottle. Then we take it outside in pouring rain to see how it fits and sheds water—and it looks good on me, too.
