Hey everyone, it’s Slush the Husky, and in this video I’m reviewing the Arcadia Trail Hands-Free Dog Leash (6-ft) and why it’s seriously improved our walks—especially when the weather is doing that classic wind/rain/snow thing. I show you the parts up close, starting with the clip: the carabiner is super thick, and you can twist and lock it, so it feels way more like a hiking setup (aka: it’s not just going to pop off). The leash itself is thick, braided, and multi-layered, which I love because it’s not something your dog can just chew through in two seconds. I also walk you through the “weird looking” adjustment piece that changes it from a normal hand loop into a true hands-free waist leash. It took me a while to figure out at first, but once you get it, it’s easy to resize depending on how you want to use it. I do call out that the adjuster is plastic—thick plastic, but still plastic—so keep that in mind. The best part for me is clipping it around my waist so I can walk hands-free, keep my hands in my pockets on cold rainy walks, and just grab the leash when I need to. No bungee here (it’s a straight leash), but overall this is one of the best hands-free leashes I’ve used for active dogs like me.
