About This Video

For my last video of 2025, I’m bringing back one of my absolute favorite yearly traditions: my Vinyl Wrapped. I keep a running Google spreadsheet of my entire record collection (artist, pressing type, what I paid, all the little details), so everything in this video is pulled straight from my own tracking. This year I added 114 records to my shelves (which is somehow five less than last year??), bringing my total collection to 308. If I include my 12 current pre-orders, it would be 126 for the year—but I’m keeping it honest with what I physically have right now. I also get into the money side of collecting (yes, I finally said the number out loud): $2,687 spent in 2025 including pre-orders, which is… a little terrifying and definitely has me considering a January buying ban. I break down sizes (mostly 12-inch), pressing types (opaque and translucent dominated), and even colors (black was #1, and apparently I was in my green era). Then I share my most-spun records, my biggest ISOs I finally hunted down (including Shrek 2, because superior soundtrack), my favorite pressings of the year, and my 2026 goals—like buying less, upgrading my turntable, and exploring more record stores (Amoeba was literal heaven).
