I’m skipping Record Store Day/Black Friday this year (I know, I know) because the list just didn’t have anything I felt like I couldn’t live without. Nothing had me desperate enough to get up at 4:00 a.m. and go spend my money, so I’m saving my time and my wallet. But I still wanted a vinyl video, so I’m finally doing an updated 2025 vinyl wishlist/ISO check-in—because I haven’t done one of these since January. In this video I go through a curated chunk of my wishlist (the full thing is on my Discogs), including what I’m planning to buy soon and what I’m actively hunting down. I start with Ariana Grande 7-inches because yes, I’m variant collecting for her (clear 7"s, I see you), then I get into soundtrack wants like Resident Evil Village, Monster House, Knives Out, Shrek (a need, not a want), and Severance Season 2. After that, it’s a mix of new releases and long-time ISOs—Charli xcx, Sleep Token, Two Door Cinema Club’s Tourist History box set, 5SOS, Paramore, PinkPantheress, The Band CAMINO, Selena Gomez & the Scene, and even a Harry’s House UK picture disc. Basically: lots of rambling, lots of “why don’t I own this yet,” and a whole lot of me trying not to blow my budget.
