Today I’m unboxing a very chaotic (and very expensive) stack of vinyl from Ariana Grande and Harry Styles, and yes, I’m sleeving everything with you because that’s just who I am. I start with Ariana: the Eternal Sunshine Deluxe 7-in singles ("dandelion/warm," "supernatural/intro (extended)," and "hamstead/past life"—and Past Life is so slept on), plus the Positions Deluxe 5-year anniversary pressing. The jacket is thick, the metallic text is stunning, and the discs came in that opaque periwinkle family with some pretty variation (mine leaned more purple with a hint of marbling). I also unbox the Positions and 34+35 7-ins, and I’m not gonna lie—I get way more excited when it’s not just another clear pressing. Then we pivot to Mr. Harry Styles and the surprise Sony restock of those 7-in singles. I managed to grab Lights Up (still cannot believe I’m holding it) and Watermelon Sugar on red translucent with the cutest watermelon labels and included Polaroids—both were super thin and papery, so I’m cleaning them before proper sleeving. After that, I give a full variant-collecting update: where I’m at with Ariana (39/54, about 72%) and Harry (12/22, about 55%), what I’m still missing, and why I’m side-eyeing the indie “exclusive” for Kiss All the Time Disco Occasionally if it’s basically just a poster situation.
