It’s Olympia time again and on this Fantom Podcast Olympia Special I sat down with one of our most seasoned competitors, Fe SW, and we got straight into Mr Olympia 2024 predictions. It’s the 60th Anniversary, it’s back home in Vegas (where the atmosphere is actually there), and the big storyline for me is simple: a lot of these guys have something to prove. We talked about why last year in Florida felt different, why the build-up this year feels more “open”, and how the judging often comes down to improvements show-to-show, not just who looks good in a photo update. We ran a full top 6 for the Open: I’ve got Martin Fitzwater 6th (dark horse, compact, dense, no real weak points), Nick Walker 5th (condition will be there, but structurally I’ve got other guys ahead), Samson Dauda 4th (phenomenal, but I’m not seeing the standout improvement yet), and Andrew Jacked 3rd (massive jump since Texas Pro, complete look, insane structure). Then we split: I’ve got Derek Lunsford 2nd and Hadi Choopan 1st—because if Hadi brings that Arnold Classic USA look, he makes everyone else look soft. Either way, it’s close, and I’m buzzing to cover it properly when I’m out in America.
