Yes guys, I’m finally back on the gym tours after a year off, and this one is a proper bucket-list stop: the legendary Blackout Gym near Lisbon, Portugal. In this video I train upper body (back and chest) and then take you on a full guided tour because this place is basically a bodybuilder’s playground—three floors packed with kit. I’m talking Prime, Hammer Strength, Strive, Precor, Atlantis… honestly I don’t think there’s any back equipment you could ever want that isn’t here. Training-wise, I hit some standout pieces, including a Star Trac cable fly that felt really nice, and the flex leverage chest press—rare as rocking horse, and one of the best chest machines ever made. I also tried a Cybex Eagle kneeling natural row that I’d never seen anywhere in the world, and it actually works—felt really good on the delts. Downstairs is where you judge a gym, and the leg floor is serious: Nebula leg press, old Cybex, Mark1 Hammer Strength, loads of extensions and curl machines, plus a full glute/ham area. Day pass is €15, it’s about 20 minutes from Lisbon city centre, loads of parking, and I gave it a 9.5/10.
