About This Video

In this video I’m doing speed reviews on the makeup (and a couple extras) I’ve tried so far in 2026—new launches plus a few things that have been out for a minute that I’m just now getting around to. I’m keeping it simple: would I recommend it or not, and why. There are some real wins (hello, hydrating mists and a stunning duochrome), and there are also a few “save your money” moments—like a mascara wand that’s way too aggressively curved and a skin tint that made me look like a Twilight vampire in the sun. I talk through what worked on my skin and what didn’t, especially with base products and eye prep. I share my experience with super-pigmented blush (you can go clownish fast), why I don’t personally love tubing mascara, and how an eyeshadow primer completely failed my oily eyelids. I also compare two baked highlighters side-by-side for texture vs wearability. If I had to rebuy only a few things, my top picks are the Sigma color corrector duo, the Juvia’s Place cream duochrome shadow, and the Laura Mercier aerosol setting spray—plus the E.L.F. lipstick because the magnetic packaging feels so “special.”
