In today’s Project Pan update, I’m sharing what I’ve actually used up, what I’ve made real visible progress on, and what I rolled in to keep the momentum going. I’m about a month and a half into this year-end focus, and honestly, it’s been so satisfying. I’m not the super-detailed, weigh-everything type of project panner (my brain just doesn’t work that way), but I love having a set of focus products so I’m not bouncing around my collection with no direction. I ran through some staples like my Revolution Vitamin Base (I’m on my third… maybe second… but I love it either way), my Ulta Beauty eye primer, the Milani Clean Start facial mist, and even a couple Ulta setting sprays. I also had a few “my project, my rules” moments—like retiring my old Physicians Formula Shimmer Bricks highlight after it broke, and saying goodbye to Wet n Wild Brulee after the new formula shattered beyond repair. On the progress side, my BH Love & London palette is giving me life (I hit pan in Lolli!), and my Benefit Hoola Light bronzer is hanging on by a tiny bit. Then I rolled in replacements like the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later eye primer, L’Oréal Lumi Glotion (it’s getting tossed at year end either way), Estée Lauder Double Wear, a MAC Orb single, Jaclyn Iced highlight for holiday bling, Rare Beauty mascara, Hard Candy Skin Rescue spray, and the LA Girl Pro Perfect oil control setting spray. I’m loving the simplicity of a focused routine—but I’m also challenging myself to get more creative before the year ends, including finally using the two blue shades in my palette.
