About This Video

This declutter was honestly pretty impromptu—I had a free morning before church and decided it was the perfect time to do one last cleanout before the end of 2025. My big goal going into 2026 is to be able to fit all my powder blush, bronzer, and highlight into one drawer, so I did a quick but very honest speed declutter (lots of swatching, lots of keep vs. toss decisions). I skipped lips and eyeshadow palettes because they’re time-consuming and I’m good with those categories right now, but I tackled pretty much everything else. I started with blush because that’s where I’m the most “out of control,” and I was shocked by how many shades were basically the same once I swatched them. I let go of items that were too peachy/gold for me, too warm, too old, or just not exciting anymore—like NARS Orgasm (not my best, too peach/gold) and some older MAC/Clinique options—while keeping the ones I truly love and reach for (and yes, I’m still a blush girl at heart). I also worked through bronzers/contours, highlighters (RIP to my ancient Physicians Formula that literally broke), face palettes (I passed on my bulky Hourglass because I never reach for it), and eye products like brow gels, paint pots, liners, and mascaras. The biggest takeaway: drugstore is so good, and I want my collection to match my real-life capsule goals—not just nostalgia.
